"Rich and unsexy" I call this city in reference to Berlin as the opposite. I guess some of my friends (and my brother) want to go after me for that judgment. I grew up in a place about thirty minutes out of Zurich and now I am living since a little more than a year in that city. Somehow, I am still not very convinced though. Why is that?
I can't even tell exactly. Maybe because it's rich and - like a friend of me described it - even not so rich people pretend to be rich. Maybe because everything is so expensive (I have been to a concert for 25 Swiss francs, the same band played the day after in another city for the entrance fee of 0! - And you even have to be glad if a good band even comes to Zurich). Or maybe it's just because I decided not to like it and now I can't start to like it. Then even though of its disadvantages, I have to admit that it can have some advantages as well as some nice places. Here, I present Zurich only from its best side. And I hope you will give it a chance!
